“Breaking Traditions” | Mahogany Engagement Wood Ring
This ring of salvaged mahogany with a birch liner is inlaid with a mixture of crushed stones including: mother of pearl, red jasper, malachite, turquoise, lapis lazuli, and sand. The inlay pattern mimics a traditional “past, present, and future” engagement setting in a non traditional way.
Mahogany is a symbol of strength and endurance. Birch, in the Celtic tradition, symbolizes renewal. These two woods, when combined with the precious stones, ignites the power of the four elements — Earth, Water, Fire and Air. This ring becomes a powerful metaphor for our lives, asking us to go deep within to expand, grow and take root in new soil.
This ring also comes in a wedding set!
